THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP – Passports are required for travel outside the United States.
TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE - We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment, as cruise line penalties are numerous, and are listed in detail in the back of your cruise brochure. We can provide you with an application for travel insurance that can cover you for a non-preexisting illness that should it befall you or a member of your immediate family, making it necessary for you to cancel your trip. Also covered is emergency medical, medical evacuation, travel accident, lost/delayed baggage and missed connections. Please read the policy for explanations. IMPORTANT - Preexisting conditions are often covered if insurance is purchased within 7 days of deposit.
AIR/SEA PACKAGES - An air/sea package includes the airline tickets and ground transportation necessary to get you to the port. When using this package, the cruise line will, at their discretion, fly you on either a scheduled airline, or a charter flight. A representative of the cruise line will then be at the airport to meet you and guide you to the ground transportation that is provided to take you to the ship.
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ - The choice of airlines, routing, and flight times are totally at the discretion of the cruise line. No changes or deviations are permitted once the tickets have been issued. If this is not acceptable to you, most cruise lines may allow, before final payment, a request for a deviation at a slight fee. You may request a specific airline, routing, or change of flight date, which will be adhered to if possible. Or you may decide to make your own air arrangements, thereby releasing the cruise line from the responsibility of getting you to the ship.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY CRUISE PRICE ???
All meals are included in the price of your cruise, so eat as little or as much as you want. This also includes 24-hour room service. Juices, ice tea, and water are included. Alcoholic beverages, soda and bottled water are not included in the cost.
Typically most cruise lines have 2 dining times available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you don't feel like eating lunch in the dining room, try lunch at poolside. Skipped dinner? Don't worry! Try the midnight buffet. On a special diet? Just let us know at time of booking and the cruise line will make every effort to satisfy your dining needs.
Most cruises offer full fitness centers onboard. Free to you, they come complete with exercise bikes, treadmills, free weights, aerobic classes, and fitness experts to help answer your questions. There's nothing like jogging around a deck and taking in the fresh sea air. Some classes may charge a fee to participate.
